Everyone Wins At #CONCLAVE44
Congrats to Conclave Chair Lori Lewis and staff for assembling yet another amazing assemblage of humans and education at #Conclave44 in Minneapolis last week. The turnout was fantastic, and the reviews are nothing but glowing. One of the highlights of the event was the presentation of The Conclave Radio Awards:
Station of the Year, Major Market: Hubbard Classic Rock WDRV (97-1 The Drive)/Chicago — the award proudly clutched by WDRV PD Rob Cressman.
Station of the Year, Large Market: Bonneville AC KSFI (FM100.3)/Salt Lake City.
Station of the Year, Medium Market: Beasley Top 40 WXKB (B103.9)/Ft. Myers, FL.
Station of the Year, Small Market: Southern Wisconsin Broadcasting News-Talk WCLO (1230AM/92.7FM)/Janesville, WI.
Iconic Station of the Year: Entercom Classic Hits WCBS-FM/New York.
The 2019 winner of The Conclave’s highest honor, the Rockwell Award, was Paul Jacobs of Jacobs Media. In a heartwarming side note, The Conclave also presented All Access Music Group President Joel Denver with a brand new Rockwell Award to replace Joel’s original 2003 Rockwell that was lost in the fire that destroyed his Malibu home last November.
