Reeves Launches Excelsior Music

• Long-time music industry executive Bob Reeves announced the opening of his new multi-faceted firm, Excelsior Music, which will focus on management, artist development, radio and tour marketing and promotion.

Reeves has held VP and National Director posts with Warner Music Nashville, Sony, Monument, Epic, Reviver, Blaster, and CORE Records, and most recently, Riser House Entertainment. His earlier radio career includes stops at WFLY and WPTR-AM/Albany, NY and Lightning 100 & Thunder 94/Nashville. Shortly after arriving in Nashville, Reeves became the operations manager and talent buyer for the legendary nightclub and music venue, The Ace of Clubs.

Reeves’ first management client is independent Country singer-songwriter, Orlando Mendez, a second-generation Cuban-American from South Florida whose first national exposure was a Top 20 showing on NBC’s The Voice. Mendez is currently working on his debut project with producer Nick Worley.

“I guess I join the likes of Col. Harlan Sanders of KFC fame, since I’m starting my first business in earnest, late in my career,” Reeves remarked. “With that, I recognize that the life I’ve lived along with its successes, and especially its failures, have given me the experience and fortitude to finally launch Excelsior Music. Orlando is the perfect artist to start with from the exact opposite perspective — he’s a young, hungry, multi-talented singer-songwriter who will, without a doubt, have a long and fruitful career!”

Reeves is already working from his home office while seeking new clients and projects and can be contacted at 615-347-9499 or bob@excelsior-music.com.
