Golden Mike: Norville Hosts, CHIC Performs
• The Broadcasters Foundation of America is proud to announce some exciting details about this year’s upcoming Golden Mike Award dinner — Deborah Norville, Emmy®-winning anchor of Inside Edition will host the event, and entertainment will be provided by legendary Grammy Award-winner and BMI songwriter Nile Rodgers & CHIC. The 2020 Golden Mike Award dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4 at New York’s famous Plaza Hotel. This annual event is a major fundraiser for the mission of the Broadcasters Foundation to help broadcasters in acute need.
As was previously announced, this year’s Golden Mike Award honoree is Dave Lougee, President & CEO of TEGNA Inc. and the Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to George Beasley, Founder and Chairman of Beasley Media Group. The evening’s presenters will be NAB President Gordon Smith, Jack Sander, Founder of Sander Media and former Belo executive, and Lynn Beall, TEGNA’s EVP & CPP of Media Operations.
The Broadcasters Foundation of America Golden Mike Award dinner always attracts a who’s who of broadcast media executives and celebrities.
