iHeart Chicago Presents ‘Women Who WIN’ ’23
• iHeartMedia’s Chicago group — 107.5 WGCI, WVAZ (V103), WGRB (Inspiration 1390), WLIT (93.9 Lite FM), WCHI (Rock 95 FIVE) and WKSC (103.5 Kiss FM) — has teamed up with YWCA Metropolitan Chicago and Chicago Foundation for Women to present Women Who WIN Class of 2023, an annual celebration of dynamic women leaders who have made a significant impact in the community as a direct result of their exceptional leadership.
Throughout the month of March, iHeartMedia Chicago, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago and Chicago Foundation for Women will pay tribute, on-air and online, to eight incredible women leaders who have shaped Chicago’s history through dedication and perseverance. The spirit of strength shines through each of these women as their unique leadership journey has brought them to this pivotal point in our nation’s history. The enormity of their impact, vision, hope and advancement of women in our city, state and country is unparalleled.
Here now is the Women Who WIN Class of 2023: Holly Buckendahl, CEO, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana (RMHC-CNI); Rita Sola Cook, President, Bank of America Chicago; The Honorable Tammy Duckworth, U.S. Senator, State of Illinois; Dr. Janice K. Jackson, CEO, Hope Chicago; Dorri C. McWhorter, President & CEO, YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago; Jamell Meeks, First Lady Emeritus, Salem Baptist Church of Chicago; Sylvia Puente, President & CEO, Latino Policy Forum; Dorothy Tucker, Investigative Reporter, CBS2 Chicago and President, National Association of Black Journalists.
“Since its inception in 2021, iHeartMedia Chicago’s Women Who WIN Initiative has honored 25 extraordinary women leaders in our city and community,” said Matt Scarano, President of iHeartMedia Chicago. “It’s an honor and a privilege to share the leadership legacy of eight more extraordinary women leaders with our listeners during Women’s History Month in 2023.”

iHeartMedia Chicago, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago and Chicago Foundation for Women will also host a Facebook Live Women Who WIN Class of 2023 Virtual Exchange on April 26 from noon-1pm where the honorees will share insights and answer questions from the radio stations’ listeners and the community.
