Entercom Urban AC KBLX/San Francisco recently welcomed CNN contributor and New York Times bestselling author Van Jones into the station to discuss his national “We Rise Tour.” Miranda Wilson, host of Sunday Morning Inspiration on KBLX conducted an interview with Jones that covered a wide variety of topics. KBLX Operations Manager Elroy Smith also presented Jones with the “Van Jones Community Service Award,” recognizing his nonprofit organization #LoveArmy for its commitment, perseverance and outstanding work in the community.

Going forward, KBLX will recognize one extraordinary community organization or person each year with the Van Jones Community Service Award to honor his commitment to service in the Bay Area.
