• In other Bones-related news, he and actor Charles Esten of CMT’s Nashville will be honored next month by Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities.
A Night To Celebrate the Healing Power of Musicis happening on Wednesday, October 10 at the CMA Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville. Bones, a MOC board member, will be presented with the “Leadership in Music Golden Ukulele Award,” and Esten, a Musicians On Call volunteer and supporter will receive the “Music Heals Golden Ukulele Award.”
Golden Ukuleles will also be presented to Outstanding Volunteer Guide Mary Lee Bennett and Outstanding Volunteer Musicians Chris Swift and Laura Vance for their commitment to Musicians On Call’s Bedside Performance Programs at Nashville-area hospitals. The event will be highlighted with special performances from Thomas Rhettand Chris Janson in the CMA Theater following the exclusive VIP reception in the Grand Foyer.
