• CBS Radio Alternative KXTE (X107.5)/Las Vegas presents its annual Holiday Havoc concert, which is creatively spread over two nights, two weeks and two venues. Night One, presented by Dollar Loan Center returns to The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas on Wednesday, December 6 and features Rise Against with special guests Portugal. The Man, Royal Blood, New Politics and Mondo Cozmo. Tickets go on sale this Friday, September 29 at 10am.

Ticket prices start at $35.00 (plus applicable service fees) and are available beginning this Friday at the Hard Rock Hotel box office by calling 888.9.AXS.TIX or axs.com.

• Holiday Havoc Night Two, also presented by Dollar Loan Center returns to the Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort on Monday, December 11 and stars hometown heroes The Killers with special guests Bleachers and Joywave. Tickets are also $35.00 (plus applicable service fees) and go on sale this Friday, September 29 at 10am guests at the Pearl Concert Theater box office, any Station Casinos Rewards Center or via Ticketmaster.com. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sale for both nights will be donated to the Nevada SPCA.


• Scripps News-Talk WTMJ/Milwaukee presents the radio play “WTMJ Saves Christmas” as its 2017 Holiday Radio Show, starring Gene Mueller, Jane Matenaer, Jeff Wagner, Wayne Larrivee and a cast of WTMJ hosts and local voices. The show will be presented Monday, November 27 at 6:30pm at Turner Hall in Milwaukee. The performance will be recorded in front of a live studio audience and replayed on-air throughout the Christmas season on 620 WTMJ and at WTMJ.com.

Here’s the premise: Gene Mueller will star in the play as he and the rest of the WTMJ cast are brought to the North Pole on Christmas Eve to step in at the last minute for Santa Claus. Fellow WTMJ hosts John Mercure, Melissa Barclay, Steve Scaffidi, Erik Bilstad and Greg Matzek will also appear on stage, and Green Bay Packers’ play-by-play voice Wayne Larrivee will serve in the pivotal role of “The Narrator.” General admission tickets are $25 and go on sale on at noon on Monday, Oct. 2 at Pabsttheater.org. Five dollars from every ticket sold will benefit Kids2Kids.
