Condolences

• We were saddened to learn that Joseph Leeds, the father of music industry veterans Steven (SiriusXM VP of Talent & Industry Affairs) and Harvey Leeds (Headquarters Management) passed away Thursday morning, November 9. He was 95 years old.

Mr. Leeds was a graduate of Cornell Horticulture School and served in the military. For more than 30 years he ran his own floral design business that was based on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Over the years numerous industry types employed his services, including RCA, Champion Entertainment, Casablanca, Paramount, Ashley Famous Artists and Leeds Music (no relation).

Funeral services will be held on Sunday morning, followed by Shiva at the Harvey Leeds residence. Mr. Leeds is survived by his two sons and their respective spouses, Nancy and Wendy (former PD of WQCD/New York) and four grandchildren: Katie (Manager at the Orchard), Sophie, Zack and Annie.
