Condolences: Lisa Stephens

Lisa Stephens, sister of Steve Warren, host of Envision Networks-syndicated The Country Oldies Show, passed away in Indiana on Thursday, May 4 due to from complications of COPD. She was 59.

Stephens lived and worked in New York City for 20 years at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, CBS Records, Warner Brothers’ promotional product licensing, and several music management companies.

Warren said of his sister, “Our father was a radio DJ in Louisville, so even though we were 12 years apart, we both wound up in media & entertainment. As my kid sister, she was tagging along with my peer group in Indiana and came to visit regularly in the markets where I worked in radio. I am sure many of my radio extended family remembers her. There will be no services or funeral in Indiana, but we’ll plan something on her 60th birthday in December here in New York.”
