Remembering Sherry Massey Dollar
• It is with great sadness that we share the news that Sherry Massey Dollar, Vice President/Market Manager for Cumulus Media Charleston, SC, died Wednesday morning, July 17 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was only 52 years old and surrounded by her family, who has asked for nothing more than prayers and to honor Sherry’s last wish to “Be Kind.” Sherry’s bright spirit touched many people throughout her 27-year radio career.

Dollar started her radio career as an AE with Clear Channel Houston in 1992. Nine years later, she was named General Sales Manager for crosstown KRBE, where she ruled for the next five years. After a stint as GSM for CBS Radio Country KILT (100.3 The Bull)/Houston, Dollar arrived in beautiful Charleston as VP/Market Manager of the Cumulus cluster in Feb. 2014… and the rest is history.
