Alpha Media Hearts iHeartRadio

iHeartMedia and Alpha Media have cut a deal to add at least 200 Alpha Media stations to iHeartRadio, the company’s free live streaming radio service.

Alpha Media currently owns or operates 228 radio stations and 225 websites serving 50 markets across the United States. Bob Proffitt, President & CEO of Alpha Media, commented, “We’re excited to join forces with iHeartRadio and expand our digital footprint. This partnership allows us to super serve our fans by reaching them whenever and wherever they choose to listen to us. Alpha Media is live, local and on the go.”

No less excited about this new digital alliance is Darren Davis, President of the iHeartMedia Networks Group, who remarked, “iHeartRadio is the go-to destination for all things audio, including live radio streaming and we are excited to provide a major broadcast company like Alpha, a broadcast-friendly platform that will offer their listeners an all-in-one digital experience. We are also always looking for ways to offer even more content and programming options to our hundreds of millions of digital users throughout the country.”
