ROC City Welcomes Ray-Gee

• Stephens Media Group Rochester, NY has hired Rachel Geller in the newly created position of Digital/Promotions Coordinator for the cluster, which includes AC WRMM (Warm 101.3), Alternative WZNE (94.1 The Zone) and Adult Hits WFKL (Fickle 93.3), effective March 1. She will also join The Zone air staff as “Ray-Gee.” (Get it?)

Ms. Geller is a St. Louis-area native who most recently worked for iHeartMedia St. Louis as Promotions Manager for the seven-station cluster and on-air talent for KSLZ (Z107.7) and the former KLLT (ALT 104.9). Her other experience includes iHeartMedia’s former ALT 106.3/Des Moines, IA and CBS Radio St. Louis.

As OM Mike McCoy notes, “Rachel loves Alternative music, lives the lifestyle, and is obsessed with her shelter dog Luna (and loves talking to others about their animals too!).” He added, “We are looking forward to having Rachel join our team in ROC City. She’s got the talent and skills we need for tie our on-air/web/social content together. It’ll also help free up Zone PD Kobe Fargo, who has been handling Digital for the cluster so he can concentrate on Programming.”
