Audacy Adds Jacobs & Brotman To Board

• Audacy announced the appointment of two new members of its Board of Directors — Walker Jacobs, DAZN Global Chief Revenue Officer and President of DAZN USA, the world’s leading sports entertainment platform, and Gabriel Brotman of Soros Fund Management.

A veteran media and ad-tech executive with more than 25 years of experience, Jacobs (left) most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer of Twitch Advertising and Managing Director of Sports at Amazon Ads. Jacobs earlier served as COO of Fandom, and EVP, Head of Turner Digital at Turner Broadcasting System (now part of Warner Bros. Discovery).

Brotman (right) recently joined Soros Fund Management in the company’s media partnerships and investments group. He previously served as EVP/COO of Axel Springer SE’s North American business, which includes Politico, Business Insider, Morning Brew Inc., and eMarketer. Earlier in his career, Brotman worked in various roles at Politico in Washington, Brussels, and New York.

“The appointments of Walker and Gabe to the Audacy Board of Directors further advance our ability to capture all the opportunities we see across the fast-changing audio landscape,” said Kelli Turner, Audacy President & CEO. “Their expertise and guidance will be invaluable as we continue to evolve our platform, strengthen our partnerships, and drive long-term value for our audiences, advertisers and shareholders.”
