Beshore New President of iHeart/Indy
• Brett Beshore has returned to iHeartMedia as the newly named Market President of the company’s Indianapolis cluster — Classic Rock WFBQ (Q95), Alternative WOLT (ALT 103.3), Urban WZRL (Real 98.3) and Fox Sports affiliate WNDE (AM 1260/97.5FM). He replaces Brad Polson, who exits after 14 months.
For Beshore (left), this new gig requires zero moving expenses — he’s lived in Indianapolis since 2011, most recently as Regional President of Adams+Fairway Outdoor Advertising. “We couldn’t be more excited to have Brett bring his 20+ years of sales and leadership experience to iHeartMedia Indianapolis,” said Earl Jones, President of iHeartMedia’s Kentucky-Indiana Region. “His understanding of our brands and products, as well as how we can utilize those tools to meet clients’ needs, will help us take the cluster to… [Ed. note: brace yourself] … the next level™.”
Beshore was previously VP/Market Manager of iHeartMedia’s Hudson Valley, NY cluster from 2009-2011. He was then promoted to Division President for Clear Channel Outdoor’s Indianapolis division, which was acquired by Adams+Fairway last year. He earlier served in VP/Market Manager roles for Times-Shamrock and Cumulus Media.
“I’m thrilled to return to iHeartMedia to lead this heritage market,” said Beshore, adding, “iHeartMedia has tremendous brand recognition in the market and a highly talented team. I look forward to delivering results for our advertisers and providing great radio entertainment for our listeners.”
