BFOA Board Adds Gelman & Clarke
• The Broadcasters Foundation of America (BFOA) has elected two distinguished media executives to its Board of Directors: Michael Gelman (left), Executive Producer of Live with Kelly & Mark, and Tim Clarke (right), an accomplished media and entertainment executive who most recently served as SVP & Head of Digital Audio Content for Audacy.
These latest appointments further strengthen the Foundation’s Board as it continues to expand its outreach, fundraising efforts, and support services for radio and television professionals facing critical financial hardship from illness or disaster.
“We are honored to welcome Michael and Tim to the Broadcasters Foundation Board of Directors,” said Scott Herman, Chair of the BFOA. “Both are highly accomplished leaders whose careers reflect excellence, innovation, and a deep commitment to our industry. Their insights, relationships, and strategic vision will be invaluable as we continue to grow awareness of the Foundation’s mission and ensure that broadcasters across the country know that help is available when they need it most.”
The BFOA provides a vital safety net for men and women in broadcasting who find themselves in acute financial need due to critical illness or disaster. Through monthly grants and emergency assistance, the BFOA delivers financial aid to colleagues who have dedicated their careers to serving their communities through broadcasting.
