CMG Atlanta Nabs D’Addario
• Cox Media Group Atlanta has wisely snagged the talents of market vet Dino D’Addario as the cluster’s new Production Manager, effective Jan. 28. He will succeed CMG’s reigning production guru, Heidi Mason, who is retiring at the end of the month after an illustrious 23-year career with Cox.
In his new role, D’Addario (left) will oversee all creative for CMG Atlanta Radio, and the best part is — no pesky moving expenses! D’Addario is currently parked across the street at Entercom, where he has served as Creative Services/Production Director and “Audio Animator” since January 2015.
D’Addario is a Maryland native who started his career in Annapolis (WXZL & WRNR), Salisbury-Ocean City (WOSC & WWFG) and his hometown of Baltimore (WXFB, WPOC& WSMJ) before a stint at XM in Washington. He later served as Commercial Production Director/Ops. Manager for WJQB (True Oldies 106.3 & Hits 106)/New Port Richey, FL before arriving in Atlanta.
In making the big announcement, Chris Eagan, OM of CMG Atlanta, told RAMP, “Dino is a true lover of all-things-production — he can make copy come off of the page and jump out of the speakers, making sure out clients get only the best. We can’t wait for him to start!”
