Cumming Leaving NAB For New Chapter

• We would like to take this opportunity to send our thanks and most sincere best wishes to Ann Marie Cumming, a fixture at the NAB for the past two decades, who has tendered her resignation as SVP & Head of Communications to accept the position of Executive Director of the Congressional Club Museum and Foundation.

Cumming said, “It was an honor to serve the industry’s premier trade association in advocating for radio and television broadcasters and advancing NAB Show, recognized the world over as the foremost convention for media, entertainment and technology. I’m excited to join such a historic organization and look forward to furthering the special mission of the Congressional Club, whose members include current and former spouses of members of Congress, the U.S. Supreme Court and the President’s Cabinet. The organization also hosts the annual First Lady’s Luncheon, a time-honored tradition in Washington, D.C. dating back 110 years!”

Cumming joined NAB’s Government Relations department in 1994, later moving into Communications, rising through the ranks from coordinator to consultant to her current role as SVP/Head of Communications. She left NAB for a time to live overseas with her family, rejoining the organization in 2011, and has led media relations efforts on behalf of the association and NAB Show and oversaw NAB’s Research and Public Service divisions. Prior to NAB, Cumming worked on Capitol Hill for Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy. Her last day NAB is February 21 — until then, she can be reached at AMCumming@nab.org.
