Entercom, NAB Expand Boards

• Entercom announced the appointment of Monique Nelson to its Board of Directors. Ms. Nelson currently serves as the Chair & Chief Executive Officer of UWG, the country’s longest-standing multicultural advertising and marketing agency. With Nelson’s addition, Entercom’s Board has expanded to 11 directors.

“During this transformative time for our company, we’re excited to welcome Monique to Entercom’s Board of Directors,” said David Field, Chairman, President & CEO of Entercom. “Her extensive career in advertising and marketing leadership make her an outstanding addition to our board.” Nelson remarked, “Entercom is in an exciting and pivotal moment and I’m delighted to be joining the Board. Nelson has served as the Chair & CEO of UWG since 2012. Prior to joining UWG, she was the Global Lead for Entertainment Marketing at Motorola.


RaMona Alexander, VP/GM of WDBD-TV/Jackson, MS, and Dan York, President & CEO of Cox Media Group (CMG), have been appointed to the NAB Television Board of Directors, and Rob Babin, SVP, Head of Radio for CMG, was appointed to the NAB Radio Board of Directors. The appointments were made by NAB TV Board Chair Emily Barr and NAB Radio Board Chair Dave Santrella, respectively, in accordance with NAB bylaws.

Alexander (left) serves as VP/GM for WDBD, a local FOX affiliate in her hometown of Jackson, MS owned by American Spirit Media. York (center) joined CMG in spring 2020 as President & CEO and is responsible for managing the company’s TV, radio, digital and national advertising platforms and overseeing CMG’s long-term strategic priorities. Babin (right) has 20 years of experience with CMG leading various business units and markets for the company. He’s currently a board member of the Georgia Association of Broadcasters and the Radio Advertising Bureau.
