Hartel Earns Alpha EVP Stripes

• Alpha Media has promoted Mike Hartel to EVP of the company’s Mid-Atlantic Region. He will oversee Columbia, SC, Fredericksburg, VA, Hagerstown-Chambersburg, PA, Bluefield, WV and Dayton & Canton, OH and also work on special company revenue-oriented projects.

Hartel (left) is a 25-year industry vet who most recently served as Regional VP of Alpha Media’s Mid-Atlantic Division and Market Manager of Columbia, SC. Prior to joining Alpha Media four years ago, Hartel spent 12 years as VP/GM with Curtis Media Group in Raleigh, NC and was instrumental in launching Curtis Media’s Digital Division. He previously spent six years as a General Sales Manager with Clear Channel Raleigh and started his career as an Account Exec with Katz Media in New York City.
