iHeartMedia Ups Ashlock & Adkins
In his new role, Ashlock will now manage the entire iHeartMedia Markets Group, including the company’s 850+ radio stations in over 150 markets. This consolidation under one leader will allow iHeartMedia to move quicker, be more responsive, communicate more clearly and best serve both listeners and advertisers based on each market’s unique needs. Division Presidents Kevin LeGrett and Tom McConnell will continue in their roles and report directly to Ashlock.
In the newly created position of President of Integrated Revenue Strategy, Adkins will join the Corporate group in New York and will be responsible for working with Group heads and other Corporate leaders to help develop innovative revenue initiatives that scale across multiple platforms as well as new strategic solutions specifically for the Markets Group that utilize the unique assets of iHeartMedia. He will also have responsibility for certain strategic businesses and will oversee iHeartMedia’s mergers and acquisitions activity with stations and markets as well as represent the company within radio industry groups and associations.
Speaking of Atkins, Pittman added, “Hartley’s new integrated revenue strategy corporate role will allow us to enjoy the benefits of integrated strategies for all of our revenue groups. Hartley will work across all groups at iHeartMedia to drive these new strategies for the benefit of our marketing and advertising partners through all of our revenue channels.”
