Impending Free Agent Chad Schultz

• RAMP has confirmed that veteran label exec Chad Schultz will be stepping away from his position as VP of Radio & Streaming, Marketing at Warner Music Nashville next month at the end of his contract.

Schultz commented, “I’d like to thank the Warner Music Nashville family for all the good times we’ve had and all the great accomplishments we had with a lot of great artists. I wish them all nothing but the best. Now I’m excited to get some rest, and then see what’s next!”

Schultz joined Warner Bros./Atlantic/Reprise (WAR) as Director of Nat’l Promotion in June 2010. The following year he transitioned to Warner Music Nashville and was awarded VP stripes in late 2015. Schultz began his label career with Mercury Records in 1996, followed by stints with Sony Music, Hurricane Interactive Promotions and Mozes, Inc.

Looking ahead, Schultz tells RAMP that he will be taking some time off this summer with his family and then will begin searching for his next adventure. He can be contacted at ChadwickSW@gmail.com.
