Let’s Help You Find A Job!

• It’s no secret that 2020 has been a difficult year for the broadcast industry in general, and recently has hit home in a personal way for many people with headlines of layoffs, terminations, and furloughs coming at the worst time of year. Into the breach comes Media Staffing Network (MSN), specialists in recruitment and placement for media, in partnership with Vipology and the Independent Broadcasters Association (IBA), who have joined forces to help those that find themselves in this situation. There are many veteran broadcasters who have not searched for a new position in decades and now find themselves unemployed. To give you a roadmap, MSN, IBA and Vipology present a helpful webinar, Finding that Next Job, scheduled for Wednesday, December 9 at 2pm ET. Finding that Next Job is FREE (register online) and open to anyone who is looking for solid guidance from the industry’s premier staffing company.

“When the radio community puts their hands and hearts together there’s nothing we can’t accomplish,” said Ron Stone, IBA President/Exec. Director. “If you’re out of work on December 9 — or think you may be on a list soon, the Finding that Next Job webinar is a great way to improve your chances of getting back to work.” MSN CEO Laurie Kahn added, “As a proud preferred partner of the IBA I’m thrilled to share the latest news and trends our teams at Media Staffing Network have seen this year, information that will enhance your odds of landing that next job.”

The free webinar is being managed by Vipology [Full disclosure: Vipology also designed and beautifully maintains RAMP247.com]. Stone adds, “Vipology has been an amazing partner for the IBA and has been working with us since the beginning in the creation of a new digital platform that will soon drive significant new revenue for our members. Their commitment to the industry is unmatched in their field, and their help with the webinar series reflects that.”

The IBA will continue to support the recently launched “Talent Available” section on its website, where out-of-work radio pros can post their resumes, and radio companies looking to hire can peruse the database at no charge to fill open positions. Media companies looking for people or interested in any of Media Staffing Networks’ recruitment training programs may contact Laurie Kahn at 480-306-8930 or laurie@mediastaffingnetwork.com.
