• Longtime Mile High City radio veteran John E. Kage has exited the PD post at iHeartMedia Country KWBL (106.7 The Bull)/Denver after nearly five years as the company’s restructuring campaign continues.

Kage notably spent seven years as PD and Digital Content Director of Entercom Top 40 KQKS (KS107.5)/Denver until November 2015, when he relocated to Tampa as Director of Branding for Cox Media Group Top 40 WPOI (Hot 101.5). Nine months later, Kage returned to the Mile High City as PD of Bonneville Country KYGO.

In early 2019 Kage resigned from KYGO and crossed the street as PD of iHeartMedia Top 40 KPTT (95.7 The Party — now HITS 95.7). He was awarded bonus PD stripes for The Bull in August 2019. Kage can now be contacted at 303-618-8668.

• And at Country WUBL (94.9 The Bull)/Atlanta, RAMP has confirmed the departure of Moote, Kimmie & Otis morning co-hosts Brian Moote and Kimmie Caruba. We are told that the Bull morning show will continue, anchored by remaining co-host Jeremy “Otis” Maher.

The wake-up trio of Otis, Moote and Caruba was assembled in June 2022 — Otis was upped from afternoons and teamed with Moote, who returned to the market after co-hosting mornings on Cumulus Country KPLX (99.5 The Wolf)/Dallas — and Caruba, who returned to the Mainland after a two-year stint as morning co-host on Pacific Media Group Top 40 KDDB (102.7 Da Bomb)/Honolulu.

Moote is a stand-up comedian who formerly co-hosted the morning show with Edgar “Shoboy” Sotelo on former Entercom Top 40 KAMP (97.1 AMP Radio)/Los Angeles. He also co-hosted the syndicated The Bert Show and did mornings on KIRO/Seattle. Moote can be contacted at mootecomedy@gmail.com.

Caruba earlier did nights on Audacy Country WUSN (US99)/Chicago and spent some quality time in Phoenix doing middays on KALV (Live 101.5) and nights on Country KMLE. Caruba can be reached at 630-335-3838 or kimberlycaruba@gmail.com. Find her on social @kimmiecaruba.
