Nexstar’s Tim Busch Retiring
• Nexstar Inc. announced that President, Broadcasting, Timothy C. Busch, will retire on June 1, 2021, following a 36-year broadcasting career. Busch actually got his start in radio, holding various sales and management positions at WGR-AM & FM/Buffalo under Taft Broadcasting. In 1989, Busch made the transition to television, serving as General Sales Manager and other sales positions at NBC affiliate WGRZ/Buffalo. Busch joined Nexstar in 2000 as GM of CBS affiliate WROC/Rochester, NY, and over his career with Nexstar ascended to roles of increasing responsibility including EVP and Co-COO, and ultimately, President of Nexstar Broadcasting, Inc., the predecessor to Nexstar Inc.
