Morini Named SVPP For iHeart Raleigh

• iHeartMedia has named Trevor Morini as Senior Vice President of Programming for the company’s Raleigh market and Program Director of heritage Top 40 WDCG (G105), effective January 21, 2020.

Morini earns the transfer and upgrade from iHeartMedia Austin, where he has programmed Top 40 KHFI (96.7 Kiss FM) and ALT 97.5 (KASE HD-2) since June 2018. Morini started his radio career on beautiful Cape Cod, MA, doing weekends/fill-in at WRZE (96.3 The Rose) and WCOD. From there he moved up to Providence to do weekends on Cumulus Top 40 92 PRO-FM, later crossing the hall to Rhythmic sister WWKX (Hot 106.3), where he rose to APD/afternoons. He landed his first PD gig at KTBT (92.1 The Beat)/Tulsa in August 2015.

Upon his arrival in Raleigh, Morini will report to Alan Kirshbom, Market President for iHeartMedia Raleigh and Chadwick “A.J.” Hausknecht, Region SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Virginia-Carolina. “Trevor has done amazing things thus far in his career,” said Kirshbom. “He’s an expert at developing talent and building positive and winning cultures.
