Promotion Party @ Townsquare NJ

• Townsquare Media announced two management promotions within its Trenton & Princeton, NJ stations — The action starts with Suzanne Montoya (left), Sales Manager of Top 40 WPST/Trenton, who has been upped to the newly created role of VP/Station Manager of the Princeton-based stations — WPST, Fox Sports affiliate WNJE-AM (920 The Jersey) and Religious WCHR-AM, while Chris Squire (right) has been promoted from Sales Manager to General Sales Manager of News-Talk WKXW (New Jersey 101.5)/Trenton. Both promotions are effective immediately.

In a memo announcing these executive upgrades, Market President/Chief Revenue Officer Ron deCastro said, “Innovation is a cornerstone of our future success. Suzanne Montoya has demonstrated this exceptional quality as a leader at WPST. With her contagious personality and boundless energy, Suzanne is a welcome addition to the Townsquare Team. It is with great pride that I announce that, effective immediately, Suzanne Montoya is the new VP/Station Manager of the Princeton properties.”

Commenting on Squire, deCastro said, “Since joining New Jersey 101.5 six months ago as Sales Manager, Chris has led by strong example at NJ 101.5 earning the trust and respect of the sales team. It is with great pleasure I announce, effective immediately, Chris will now be the General Sales Manager of NJ101.5​.”
