SBG Parts Ways With Wolkoffs
• Details are still sketchy, but RAMP has confirmed that Sun Broadcast Group has parted company with Chief Operating Officer Danno Wolkoff and his wife, Laura Orkin Wolkoff, who had served as SBG’s VP of Business Operations.
It was January 2020 when the Wolkoff’s Cleveland-based Envision Networks was acquired by SBG’s parent company Gen Media Partners, and Danno and Envision co-founder Laura joined the SBG Executive Team, with Danno serving as SBG’s Chief Development Officer and Laura accepting the position of VP of Business Ops. Wolkoff was upped to COO in Sept. 2020.
No other details are available at this time, but we expect Gen Media Managing Partner Warren Friedland to become more hands-on with the operations of SBG, at least in the short term.
