Seven Mountains Media Gets Wowk

• Seven Mountains Media (7MM) just introduced Joe Wowk as the new Market Manager of the company’s four State College, PA radio stations and media company — Top 40 WBHV (B94.5), Hot AC WZWW (95.3 3WZ), Classic Hits WOWY (97.1, 97.7, 103.5 & 1150), and Classic Country WLEJ (Bigfoot Country Legends 98.7).

Wowk spent the last seven years VP of Broadcast Media Operations with Dealer World, an automotive-centered advertising agency in Lehighton PA. A radio guy at his core, Wowk’s career started at non-comm WIXQ/Millersburg, PA, while attending Millersville University. After college Wowk worked as an air talent at WCTO (Cat Country 96)/Allentown and WGGY (Froggy 101.3)/Scranton. He’s also the P.A. announcer for the Philadelphia Flyers’ AHL affiliate Lehigh Valley Phantoms, and he also owns a successful audio production and voicetracking business.

In making the big introduction to the staff, 7MM COO Jim Loftus said, “We knew Joe Wowk as a really professional media executive, doing business with Seven Mountains in several of our markets, but it was our years of listening to ‘Wild Joe’ on the radio that made him the perfect fit to join our leadership team as our State College Market Manager.”

Operating in nine markets with over 62 signals and a Digital and Creative Services Media company, Seven Mountains Media is owned and operated by CEO Kristin Cantrell.
