Staskiewicz Doubles Digital Domain
• Congrats to veteran Boston radio pro Tim Staskiewicz, Digital PD of Beasley Sports-Talk monster WBZ-FM (98.5 The Sports Hub), who was just awarded similar duties for Country sibling WKLB (Country 102.5).
Staskiewicz previously spent six years as Digital Content Director for CBS Radio Boston, and transitioned over to Beasley last November after the CBS Radio/Entercom merger and The Sports Hub was acquired by Beasley. Earlier in his career Staskiewicz served as Online Content Director for Clear Channel’s DC/Baltimore group, and he began his radio career in Providence, working for Citadel and Clear Channel.
RAMP spoke to David Corey, PD of WKLB, who told us, “I’m super excited to have Tim join the Country 102.5 team as Digital PD. Tim has an amazing track record, and I’m sure he will help us continue the amazing growth we’ve seen over the last year.”
Not to be outdone in the department of excitement, Staskiewicz remarked, “Country 102.5 is a powerhouse radio station that I have listened to for years! Now I get to be a part of it, working with David Corey and the rest of the amazing WKLB team as we continue to build our brand in the digital and social space,” said Staskiewicz. “My thanks to David, Mary Menna, Cadillac Jack and Mike Thomas for the opportunity to shape the digital strategy for 98.5 The Sports Hub, and now, Country 102.5!”
