Taste Of Hope Rocks Again

• The numbers are in from the recent Taste of Hope charity wine dinner, and it was certainly worth the wait — this 12th annual soiree to benefit City of Hope, held Thursday, March 22 in New York, raised over $300,000! This year’s event was chaired, as always, by the lovely and talented Alissa Pollack, EVP, Global Music Marketing for iHeartMedia, whoreports that, despite the near-blizzard conditions in New York, over 500+ high-powered professionals representing every record label, broadcast group, streaming platform — and RAMP‘s own Steve Resnik — arrived safely at Tribeca 360° for an evening of great food, amazing wines and a silent auction featuring a selection of distinguished vintages from some of the world’s finest private collections.

As Ms. Pollack told RAMP, “I am truly humbled by the generosity and support of so many people in the industry and of course indebted to our amazing committee — Steve Bartels, Tom Corson, Dave Dyer, Mike Easterlin, Bruce Gearhart, Marcus GrantPeter Gray, ‘The Master,’ Richard Palmese, L.A. Reid and Greg Thompson.”

She added, “Collectively, our dinner has raised over $6 million in the fight against AIDS, diabetes and cancer for City of Hope. In addition, we have been able to expand the Jason Pollack Bedside Performance Program with Musicians on Call at City of Hope and we are looking forward to launching the program in my hometown of Staten Island this year, which is very meaningful for me. Taste of Hope has definitely become a must-attend night and nothing makes me prouder.” That’s Ms. Pollack, centered, bookended by Richards Palmese and Steve Bartels.
