NYC Wakes Up Without Bob Bronson

• Mornings in New York City sound different today, as Bob Bronson officially unplugged from his position as co-host of the Bob & Christine morning show with Christine Nagy on iHeartMedia AC WLTW (106.7 Lite FM)/New York last Friday after ten years, and now plans to spend some quality time with his family at the beach. A post on the Bob & Christine Facebook page reads, “After an incredible 10-year run, Bob has decided to move on to sandier pastures! He will be having some family beach time and spending time with his new granddaughter, sweet baby Caroline. We wish him the absolute best on his new journey!”

A quick visit to the RAMP (and R&R Street Talk Daily) archives reminds us that Bronson’s momentous move to WLTW in May 2009 cemented his status as a prestigious Leap O’ The Week™ winner, as he was the Operations Manager of Saga’s Manchester, NH cluster and PD of AC WZID when he was propelled upward to Market No. 1 and paired with Nagy.

PD Chris Conley tells RAMP that a new show will be announced soon. For now, Ms. Nagy is accompanied by longtime Lite FM swing/fill-in personality Jack Kratoville on the dawn patrol.
