Radio Comes Through Again

Charleston picThe 9th annual Cares for Kids Radiothon, powered by iHeartMedia Country 103.5 WEZL and AC WXLY (Y102.5)/Charleston, SC recently raised over $177,000 to benefit Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital. This year’s Cares for Kids Radiothon ran from 6am-7pm on January 26 and 27. “iHeartMedia Charleston has a longstanding commitment to the children and families in our community,” said Alene Grevey, Area President for iHeartMedia Charleston. “The funds raised with the help of 103.5 WEZL and Y102.5’s generous listeners will provide critical support to the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.” Over the past nine years, the Cares for Kids Radiothon has raised over $1,750,000 for the MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital.
