CBS Radio Alternative KITS (Live 105)/San Francisco is about 17 emotional states past proud to present BFD 2017 at the Shoreline Amphitheater on Saturday, June 10, and, as expected, the line-up is massive — we’re talking over 30 bands on four separate stages, all thanks to the combined efforts of PD Jacent Jackson and APD/MD Aaron Axelsen. The main stage will be lead by full sets from Phoenix (making their first Bay Area appearance in five years), indie-rock superstars Franz Ferdinand and alt rock favorites, Cold War Kids. The main stage will also feature Milky Chance and Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness.
The Festival Stage will feature the current roster of alternative acts with non-stop music from Taking Back Sunday, Marian Hill, New Politics, Highly Suspect, LP, Mondo Cozmo, SWMRS, Missio, Waters and Dreamers. The Subsonic Tent is jammed with the best names in electronic and EDM music, like San Jose’s own Getter along with Whethan, Phantoms, Powers, Dimond Saints, Pusher, Wingtip, Highsociety, Opia, and Qrion. The tent will also play host to several notable local DJs you may have heard of — like a certain Aaron Axelsen, Saint John and DJ Dallas. BFD 2017 will also feature nine of the hottest bands from all over the Bay Area with Silent Pilot, Picture Atlantic, Nine Pound Shadow and more.
