• Bruce Scott has been hired to do mornings on Alpha Media Classic Hits KBAY (94.5 Bay FM)/San Jose, starting Tuesday, January 17. Scott heads north from iHeartMedia AC KOST/Los Angeles, where he was doing part-time. Ronnie Stanton, VP of Programming for Alpha Media San Jose and PD of Bay FM commented, “It’s very exciting to add Bruce to the refreshed sound of Bay FM. He brings years of experience and a great radio brain to create an upbeat and fun morning show with the greatest hits of all time for the Bay Area.”

For his part, a clearly excited Scott exclaimed, “OMG, this is so exciting! Mornings at an awesome station, in a great city, for an excellent company like Alpha? Are you kidding me? Perfect! Can’t wait to get started.”


• iHeartMedia Austin has inked a multi-year extension with Bama Brown, Rob Mason, and Heather White to keep them waking up ungodly early to host the Bama, Rob and Heather Show every weekday morning from 6-10am on Country KVET. “We are thrilled to continue doing what we love on KVET-FM,” said Mason (right). “We are proud to have called iHeartMedia home for many years, and knowing this relationship will continue is simply amazing.”
