Gunner Jackson Needs Our Help!

• We want to draw your attention to the serious plight of a fellow radio pro — Gunner Jackson, PD/afternoon personality at Beasley Country WKML/Fayetteville, NC was involved in a horrific head-on car accident Monday evening. Jackson (left), whose real name is Mark Osborne, was on his way home from work and was literally turning onto his street when the accident happened. As you can see by the photo, his Ford Focus is completely unrecognizable.

As you read this, Jackson is in serious condition at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill with severe spinal injuries, a broken pelvis, broken ribs, sternum, left arm and elbow, left leg and ankle. He has already undergone two surgeries and is scheduled for several more, and is facing at least a year of rehabilitation.

Jackson previously did afternoon drive for 11 years at Entercom Country WPAW (93.1 The Wolf)/Greensboro, and a couple of his former colleagues, Wolf morning co-hosts Dale O’Brian and Chase Matthews have established a GoFundMe page to help Jackson with his rapidly mounting medical expenses.

If you can spare a few moments, please visit the page, share the link and donate whatever you can to help a radio brother. Thank you!
