Kelley Upped To Mornings On Cat Country

• Hall Communications Country WCTK (Cat Country 98.1)/Providence has promoted Courtney Kelley from middays to morning co-host, joining Brian Mulhern on Cat Country Mornings, effective immediately. Kelley replaces Madelyn Grimaldi, who resigned to pursue other interests.

“Courtney has been with us since 2013,” said Bob Walker, Hall VP of Programming and PD of WCTK. “As long as I’ve known her, she has wanted to host a morning show. We are beyond excited to have her living out that dream every morning on Cat Country.” Walker has graciously volunteered to handle the Cat Country midday show TFN.

“Brian and I have known each other for years,” said Kelley. “While that’s basically true for all native Rhode Islanders, we’ve been friends for a long time.” Kelley continued, “I’ve had my Cat Country On now for seven years. I’m grateful for the opportunity that Hall Communications has given me to take this next big step in my career.”

Kelley joined WCTK 2013 to do weekends and fill-in and was upped to fulltime middays last June. She previously worked at WSNE/Providence and the former Mix 102/New London, CT.
