L.A. Is Radio Disney Country

Radio Disney Country is expanding its multiplatform musical footprint with the terrestrial launch of 99.1 KRDC/Los Angeles at noon today. The announcement was made by Phil Guerini, VP of Music Strategy, Disney Channels Worldwide and GM of Radio Disney Networks, who commented, “As Country music continues to deliver some of the biggest artists in music today, we are broadening the reach of Radio Disney Country through both terrestrial and digital extensions of its brand.” To accommodate the FM debut, Radio Disney’s former terrestrial flagship 1110 KDIS-AM will re-launch as KRDC and simulcast Radio Disney Country on 99.1 FM, via translator K256CX.

The Country music community will also celebrate the launch of KRDC live from the epicenter of Country music, Kelsea Ballerini, Hunter Hayes, Bailey Bryan, Scotty McCreery, Tegan Marie and Temecula Road will join Radio Disney Country host Betsy Spina on the Radio Disney Country Stage at CMA Music Fest’s Xfinity Fan Fair X in Nashville today at 11:45am PT/1:45pm CT for a countdown event streaming live on Radio Disney Country’s Facebook page.

KRDC will officially begin broadcasting on 99.1 FM and 1110 AM today at noon PT/3pm ET, kicking off with Kelsea Ballerini’s new single, “Legends.” In addition to today’s FM launch, Radio Disney Country will now be available on iHeartRadio and TuneIn, and as curated playlists within Spotify and Apple Music. Radio Disney Country will also launch a musical.ly account @RadioDisneyCountry.
