That’s A Lotta Pickin’ & Eatin’

WSIX (The BIG 98)/Nashville recently announced its 7th annual Accu-Chek Guide Guitar-B-Que, a live concert and guitar auction to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event will take place Wednesday, August 23 at Ascend Amphitheater in downtown Nashville and feature performances by Brett Eldredge, Chris Janson, Michael Ray, Devin Dawson and DJ Sinister.

The event will be hosted by BIG 98 on-air personalities Tige & Daniel, Amy Paige, McKiddy and others, and the Big 98 will donate items for the live auction such as signed guitars and memorabilia by top country artists. “Guitar-B-Que is Nashville’s annual excuse to meet and eat for St Jude,” said Gator Harrison, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Nashville. “Ascend is the perfect backyard, Brett Eldredge is the ultimate party host, and our BIG 98 family of listeners will ensure another ‘Only-in-Nashville’-kind of unforgettable night.”

Last year’s event raised over $25,000 to benefit St. Jude and The BIG 98 is looking to match that number this year. Over the past 27 years, The BIG 98 has raised over $6 million for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Tickets are on sale Thursday, June 29 at 10am CT on TheBIG98.com with a portion of the proceeds benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
