Eau Claire’s Newest Sports Fan

• iHeartMedia Eau Claire, WI has launched Sports-Talk 98-7 The Fan, “The Chippewa Valley’s Sports Station,” the former site of Classic Hits WBIZ-AM (98.7 The Brew), powered by translator W254CN.

98-7 The Fan will broadcast Chippewa Valley-area high school and pro sports, including the Minnesota Twins, Wild, Vikings and Milwaukee Bucks. “The Chippewa Valley is often a house divided when it comes to Wisconsin and Minnesota sports teams,” said Dave DeVille, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Eau Claire. “We’ve curated a home-base station for all sports fans to enjoy.”
