Fresno Now Jammin’ To Throwbacks

• After 10 hours of stunting with Bob Marley’s “Jammin'” on repeat, Big Broadcasting’s KOKO-FM/Fresno, CA flipped from Oldies to Rhythmic AC as Jammin’ 94.3 FM, “Fresno’s Old School & Throwbacks Station,” featuring a blend of classic and contemporary R&B songs from the ’70s to the 2000s.

The new Jammin’ 94.3 is under the care of veteran programmer Mike Marino, who has previous experience with the Old School/Throwbacks format at KHHT/Los Angeles, KJHM/Denver and KMRJ/Palm Springs, CA. Marino said, “Our unique blend of old school and R&B throwbacks super-serves an adult female audience ignored by other contemporary and gold-based radio stations in the market. Passion level for this music is off the charts. Fresno will get the ‘feels’ from Jammin.'”

Big Broadcasting is owned by legendary air personality Art Laboe, whose syndicated radio show,The Art Laboe Connection will continue to air weeknights from 7-midnight and Sundays from 6pm-midnight. Big Broadcasting, Inc. has also entered into a programming and sales agreement with Envision Networks®, placing the focus squarely on the production, music and on-air image of Jammin’ 94.3 FM.
