Here is the weekday line-up for 1310 The Power — 6-10am: The Russ Parr Show; 10am-1pm: The Déjà Vu Show; 1-4pm: The Reverend Al Sharpton Show; 4-8pm: The D.L. Hughley Show; 8-11pm: The Larry Elder Show; 11pm-6am: Timeless Soul music.
Moments after the switch was thrown, Rusty James, VP of Operations and Programming at Max Media of Hampton Roads, commented, “I’m very excited to launch this great mixture of talk and music all on one station.”
• Now, the follow-up — Max Media has relocated the WGH-AM’s Oldies format over to the FM band with the launch of Solid Gold 97.3 on WGH-FM HD2. “We’re excited to be moving to the clear, digital quality of HD radio,” said market legend Dick Lamb, Brand Manager of Solid Gold WGH. “It’s the same great music from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s, along with the same great personalities on the bigger, brighter sound of FM!”
