D’Ambrosio Sets Alarm Ungodly Early

• Award-winning sportscaster Joe D’Ambrosio is joining Mornings with Ray Dunaway on Entercom News-Talk-Sports 1080 WTIC-AM/Hartford, starting today at 5am ET. It’s a nice upgrade for D’Ambrosio, a 27-year WTIC veteran who has received the Sports Media Association’s “Connecticut Sportscaster of the Year Award” a record nine times. He’s also the recipient of the prestigious 2018 “Dean of Sports Award.”

“Joe’s deep connection with and expertise of Connecticut’s sports landscape make him among the most respected voices in the field,” said Phil Zachary, SVP/Market Manager of Entercom Hartford (and soon-to-be SVP/Market Manager of Entercom Washington). “Southern New England has known and respected Joe’s work for nearly three decades, and we are looking forward to his fulltime presence in WTIC’s masthead morning program.”
