WiLD 94.9/SF Morning Host JV Still Missing
• UPDATED: Longtime Bay Area radio veteran Jeffrey “JV” Vandergrift, host of The JV Show on iHeartMedia’s KYLD (WiLD 94.9)/San Francisco is still missing — and is considered “at risk.”
On Monday morning, WiLD 94.9 tweeted this unsettling update: “As you know, our own JV has been missing since Thursday night and was officially reported missing this past Friday by the SFPD. Since that time, there has been no trackable activity on his cell phone. There has also been no activity on his credit cards or any other banking records. These updates are obviously incredibly worrisome, though we continue to hope and pray for better news.”
According to the San Francisco Police Department, Vandergrift, 54, was last seen about 10pm on Thursday, Feb. 23 at his home in the 200 block of King Street, near Oracle Park. He’s six feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds, with a bald head and brown eyes and was last seen wearing black sweatpants.
