RnB On The Move In Austin
Entercom Austin is making final preparations to move Urban AC 96.3 RnB (K242CC) to a swell new dial position. As far as we are able to determine, the process involves a few twists of a well-placed Phillips screwdriver to tweak the frequency over to 95.9 FM. The station, which has been in operation since July 2013 will officially migrate to its new home at 9:59am (CT) this Friday, March 24.
In making the announcement, Stephanie Callihan, VP/Market Manager of Entercom Austin remarked, “We are looking forward to welcoming all of our loyal listeners at our new home on the dial. We continue to be committed to providing the unparalleled radio experience that our fans have come to expect from us and will keep delivering for our fans at our new frequency.”
The station’s new 95.9 frequency (and sweet new logo) will all go live immediately after the syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show at 9:59am Friday, leading into Suga Rae‘s local midday show.
