• Entercom Top 40 WPXY/Rochester, NY yesterday announced the extensive artist line-up for its annual 98 PXY Summer Jam — please welcome Jon Bellion, Sabrina Carpenter, James Arthur, Clean Bandit, Noah Cyrus, Kyle, Mø, The Vamps and Hey Violet. The big show happens Thursday, June 15 at Frontier Field.
Commenting on the show’s lengthy heritage in the market, PD Mike Danger tells RAMP, “As far as I know it was started by ‘The Godfather of Summer Shows,’ John Ivey, back during his time here — well over 20 years.” Clearly on a roll, Danger added, “Year after year, one of the most satisfying events we get the chance to put together for our community is 98 PXY Summer Jam. I’m always overwhelmed by the cooperation we receive from our industry partners and clients and I’m confident this year’s party will be legendary. Rochester has come to know that summer isn’t officially summer until 98 PXY Summer Jam happens!”
