Ryan Cameron In ICU After Heart Attack

• Late Sunday evening RAMP was informed that longtime Atlanta radio personality Ryan Cameron, who currently does afternoon drive on Radio One Urban AC WAMJ (Majic 107.5/97.5), has been hospitalized and is in intensive care after suffering a heart attack. The news was reported by WSB-TV.

A statement from Cameron’s family, posted on the home page of WAMJ, reads, “On behalf of the family of Ryan Cameron, we are asking for your fervent prayers as he recovers from emergency surgery that took place earlier this week. We ask for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your love and concern.”

Prior to joining WAMJ in October 2018, Cameron spent 18 years on Entercom Urban WVEE (V103), preceded by an eight-year run in mornings on WHTA (Hot 107.9). Cameron also serves as the P.A. announcer for the Atlanta Falcons and Hawks.
