Departure Day At CBS Radio Philly
RAMP has confirmed several prominent departures at CBS Radio Philadelphia –At Classic Hits WOGL, longtime afternoon drive personality Cadillac Jack is out, along with overnight talent Ron Cade. Across the hall on Country WXTU, Jennifer Reed has exited the night show after five years. Cadillac, who is now M.I.A. from the WOGL jock page, was awarded the afternoon show in 2008 after the passing of market legend Big Ron O’Brien. In a Facebook post, Cadillac (left) said, “March 18, 1991 I began my afternoon drive career here in Philadelphia at Eagle 106. As of June 6, 2017 it takes a time-out. I hope you think positive thoughts and have well wishes. Stay tuned. Bigger and better things are on the way. God Bless.”
Cade (center) also shared his status via Facebook, as he posted, “I want to let my loyal listeners know that WOGL has informed me that I am no longer working there to do the overnight shift and that they have cancelled the Elvis & Friends Show.”
