Kory & Clay On The Loose
• After five years with Bonneville Sacramento, doing afternoons on AC KYMX (Mix 96) and tracking nights at Hot AC KZZO (NOW 100.5), veteran air personality Kory has decided to step down this summer and pursue new adventures. As Kory (left) explains to RAMP, “I’m currently based in downtown Oakland and have a digital recording space with processing at home, and can produce just about anything. If you need an experienced tracker, spot reads, or production, I would love to talk to you. In the meantime, I’ll still be around weekly on my podcast Theme Park Pulse, fortnightly on my other pod Unpacked, and I plan to continue pursuing audio journalism and storytelling in all its forms.”
Kory’s extensive radio resume includes stops at KVIL/Dallas, WXKS (Kiss 108)/Boston, KC101/New Haven, WHYI (Y100)/Miami, WQAL & WDOK/Cleveland, WOMX/Orlando, KKMG & KIBT/Colorado Springs, WKZY/Gainesville and WEOW/Key West, FL. Intrigued suitors can reach out to him at radiokory@gmail.com.
• Clay Roth has exited Midwest Communications’ Top 40 WSTO (Hot 96)/Evansville, IN due to budget cuts. Roth (pictured, below, left) had worked at Hot 96 since 2015 and was most recently doing the night show and doubling as production assistant for WSTO’s imaging.
His previous radio experience was across town at Alternative WSWI (95.7 The Spin) when attending the University of Southern Indiana.
Roth is now seeking his next radio opportunity and can be reached at clayroth93@yahoo.com.
