Lopez On The Loose
RAMP has confirmed that veteran air personality/voiceover pro Paco Lopez has exited as midday talent on CBS Radio Classic Hits WOCL (105.9 Sunny FM)/Orlando, yet another chapter in the company’s restructuring ahead of the Entercom merger.
Lopez revealed his departure in a public Facebook post that read, in part, “This past Friday a chapter in my life closed. I’m no longer with CBS Radio and 1059 Sunny FM. It was 6 1/2 GREAT years. Thanks to the company, Management (Steve Carver), Rick Stacy for hiring me, Domino, Grace, Smokestack and Sybil. Friends for life. And thank YOU for listening, sharing your time, your love, and your life! Now a new chapter has opened. We’ll see where this takes me. I’ll keep you posted. God bless.”
