Milwaukee Wakes Up A Little Differently
iHeartMedia Country WMIL (FM 106.1)/Milwaukee announced the debut of its newly reconfigured morning show, which still contains 33 1/3 percent of its previous wake-up show — say hello to the new Ridder, Scott and Shannen radio experience, which has been lovingly constructed using personnel already in the building — Scott Dolphin (left) is a veteran of the station’s recent Karen, Scott & Radar wake-up show and has now been joined by Shaun Ridder (center), who moves up from afternoon drive, and former intern Shannen Oesterreich (right).
“I’m excited to introduce Ridder, Scott and Shannen to the FM106.1 listener family,” said a clearly excited Kerry Wolfe, SVP of Programming for iHeartMedia Milwaukee. “This trio has the energy and humor to get your mornings started. Their knowledge and passion for the Milwaukee community and country music make them a perfect team for FM106.1.”
Last week we reported that Karen Dalessandro had stepped down from WMIL’s now former Karen, Scott & Radar morning show after 19 years; concurrent with the launch of this new morning program, RAMP has confirmed that former co-host Tony “Radar” Hess has also exited and can be reached at 414-305-7729 or hess92@gmail.com.
